My name is Jono, owner and mechanic at Blackout Cycles!

I left school and went straight into a Bicycle Mechanic apprenticeship with my local bike shop, after moving to a highly successful independent mountain bike specialist which sadly had to close, I decided to set up Blackout Cycles!

My aim was to offer a high quality of service and products, without the BS! I only stock what I believe in or would use myself, and all work is justified.

Blackout Cycles is a bicycle service and repair centre covering all disciplines of bikes, based just outside of Petersfield, Hampshire, at the foot of the South Downs.

We have an open workshop but offer a collection and delivery service on request.

We offer a wide range of services and individual repairs ranging from basic gear adjusts all the way to full bike strip downs. We even offer specialist services such as suspension work, wheel building, custom builds and InvisiFrame protection.

All Bikes are given a full free no obligation quote before work is started to ensure full clarity of what is exactly needed for your bike.

I am a Cytech level 3 accredited Mechanic, working to a high standard with professional tolling from brands like Park Tool, Fox, Rockshox and Draper.

We also stock and supply loads of products and spares from major brands, such as Muc Off, Rockshox, Sram, Shimano, Fox, Michelin and many many More!

For 2020 we sponsor the massively popular and ever growing Southern Enduro series, and can be seen offering race day support across the south!
